Our Fun Fall.....

I *blinked*....and Fall came and went.  What a fun fall we had!  It was comprised of a few big events, and lots of fun everyday things.  Here are our highlights:

Uncle Eddie married sweet Nellie!  Though their wedding day was one of the rainiest days I've ever seen, it didn't distract from a beautiful wedding.  I'm sure there wasn't a dry eye in the church!!

Uncle Eddie did a surprise serenade....to this day, whenever that song comes on the radio, the kids announce "Uncle Eddie's song!!!"

The Husband completed the kids's tree fort!  This was a big and fast project.  Time from the idea to the completion was quick.  The kids are thrilled about having their own space.  The Husband is thrilled about the fact that it's big enough he can sleep out there. Perhaps this is our new "Guest House"????

We had a few really warm fall days.  We make the most of these days, because we all know what's to come......that never-ending Minnesota winter!

Shhh...look at my cute little readers hanging out at the library....

Audrey and Nora started dance class at the Reif Center.  They love love love it!

They had a recital mid-December.  It was their first time on stage, and they did really well!

William started Cub Scouts this fall.  The Husband was in Boy Scouts growing up, and attained the rank of Eagle Scout. Cub Scouts is something they do together.  William particularly loved the outing where they learned how to safely shoot a bow and arrow!

GRANDPA'S MARATHON!  Grandpa Bob ran marathons when I was growing up, and I assumed he'd retired from running long distances.  Not so!  He completed the Twin Cities Marathon this fall!  It was a great experience for all of us.  It was a blast to cheer both Grandpa and the other runners on.  Way to go Grandpa!
Carb-Loading.....

The one shot of the kids dressed up for Halloween---

All 3 kids started skating lessons this fall.  You have to know how to skate well when you grow up in Minnesota, right?!?!  I'm pleased with what they've learned so far!

Audrey and Grant enjoyed some 4-wheeling this fall.

Audrey also found a love of climbing trees!

Deer Hunting Season---
They look pretty good in orange!

So do Audrey and Martha!

We celebrated (with a SURPRISE birthday party) the 60th birthdays of my mother- and father-in-law!  Wishing you many more happy and healthy years, Alice and Jeff!!!

Fall was full of good memories.....
