The weatherman tonight used the adjective "BALMY" to describe this week's weather, so I am not done thinking, dreaming, and wishing summer would last forever. Here is one more taste of summer....
When we lived in La Crosse, we were blessed to meet some great friends who we have kept in close contact with. Two of these families came to see us this summer! We love to have company! We like to show our guests a good time and enjoy sharing our home and life. We also really appreciate that they took time out of their busy lives to spend with us!
My dear friend Amy and her babies, Alice and Arden. We had so much fun....swimming, riding bikes, playing outside, and lots and lots of catching up!
All 5 kids on the boat-----Nora, Audrey, William, Arden, and Alice. They had a blast!
Alice and Arden being silly on the boat. Doesn't it look like they were having fun?
Our friends Mike and E, and their kids Ellie and Noah, also came for a visit this summer. Ellie and Noah are very close in age to Audrey and Nora. Audrey and Ellie are one month apart, and Noah and Nora are also a month apart! It was a fun and busy visit!
Mike and 'the babies'---Nora and Noah!
E and I usually have a project when she comes. Typically, it involves the late hours of the night and sewing machines. This visit, we went easy and just made tutus for our girls. Audrey and Ellie model our masterpieces!
William, Audrey, and Ellie enjoying some rare quiet time.
Noah appears to be hugging Nora! We will be arranging their marriage in 25 years (just kidding!!).
Noah giving Nora a ride in the little red car!
We took a quick trip to Duluth. Everyone enjoyed a warm evening on the shore of Lake Superior.
The adults doing a little rock skipping!
Audrey and Ellie really enjoyed each other's company.
Who will be our next company? We would love to have you!
